Michael L. Cross, CPA
Mike graduated in 1969 from Daniel Boone Area High School and upon graduation from Penn State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting he was employed by a CPA firm in Reading, Pa for a period of ten years becoming a partner in 1979. In September, 1982 Mike founded the CPA firm of Michael L. Cross & Co., Ltd. to pursue his personal ambitions and test his ideas and theories in the profession of public accounting.
His philosophy regarding the importance of developing and maintaining relationships along with understanding his client's goals and objectives has enabled him to provide the solutions for their tax and accounting matters throughout the years.
In addition to performing the traditional services of a CPA, Mike applies his expertise and experience to assist clients with business succession planning, retirement and estate planning and other consulting advisory services.
Mike is a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania, a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, The American Institute of CPAs and the National Association of Accountants.
Residing in Upper Pottsgrove Township, Mike is married to his high school sweetheart, Judy since 1972 and together they enjoy traveling, their grandchildren and long walks on the beaches of Hilton Head, SC.
Cynthia R. Smith, CPA
After graduating from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1973, Cindy attended Temple University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Cindy has always worked in the public accounting profession concentrating in the small business sector.
Her allegiance to the small business person has enabled her to build long term relationships with her clients. Cindy believes in simplicity and organization and has been very successful in assisting clients to incorporate these attributes with their accounting records.
As a certified public accountant she takes pride in her ability to provide quality, comprehensive accounting and tax planning services in a very responsive manner. Cindy is also an authority on Quickbooks and is skilled at training the bookkeeping staffs of our clientele.
Cindy is a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania, a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, The American Institute of CPAs and a member of the Upper Perkiomen Business and Professional Women's Club.
She resides in Upper Hanover Township with her husband, Terry, and enjoys spending time on their Schuylkill County farm, gardening, exercising and visiting their son and family in Chicago.
